HOMEOWNER GUIDE

What You Actually Need to Know

Skip the contractor jargon – Here's what matters when choosing your siding.

Do I really need gutter filters?

It depends on your property. If you have trees within 20 feet of your roofline, you're cleaning your gutters 2-4 times a year — or paying someone to do it. At $150-250 per cleaning, gutter filters often pay for themselves in 3-5 years. If you have minimal tree coverage, you might be fine without them.

What's the difference between 5" and 6" gutters?

It's about water volume. 6" gutters hold roughly 33% more water than 5" gutters. If your roof area is large, your pitch is steep, or your current gutters overflow during heavy rain, 6" is the way to go. For most standard Denver homes, 5" handles the job just fine.

What does 'seamless' mean and why does it matter?

Traditional gutters come in sections that are joined together with seams. Seams are where gutters leak, rust, and fail. Seamless gutters are fabricated as one continuous piece on-site using a machine we bring to your property. No seams means no weak points.

How do I know if my gutters need replacing?

Look for visible sagging, pulling away from the fascia, rust spots, standing water, or water spilling over during rain. If your gutters are more than 20 years old or you're seeing water damage on your fascia boards or foundation, it's time for an inspection.

Can you install gutter filters on my existing gutters?

In most cases, yes. If your existing gutters are in good condition and properly sloped, we can add any of our three filter options without replacing the gutters themselves. We'll assess this during your free inspection.

What about pricing per linear foot — how much gutter does my house need?

The average Denver home needs 150-200 linear feet of gutter. So at $13–$15/ft for 5" gutters, a typical home runs about $1,950–$3,000. Add Leaf Blaster Pro guards at $18/ft and you're looking at an additional $2,700–$3,600. We measure everything during your free inspection — no guessing.
