Jake Fairbanks from Ideal Roof &Exteriors Pros came out to help evaluate my roof and fix some flashing that had come loose. He was terrific and knowledgeable, straight forward and local! It seemed so old fashioned to get someone who knew what they were doing, were local, focus on what I actually needed, and not just trying to sell me something. I was glad to learn he does exterior repair and painting since I need help there, too, and know it will be straight up just what's needed and exceptionally well done. Highly recommend.

We selected Ideal for some minor repairs to the exterior of our house, siding and fascia, and they did a great job. We had selected Ideal to repair our roof after a major hail storm a few years back, where they also did a great job, so we felt confident to go with them again.

We had such a great experience with Ideal Roofing & Exterior Pros from start to finish! We hired them to paint our house, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and honestly just a pleasure. Miguel and his daughter did an amazing job with all of the prep and painting. They power washed the house, repaired some old beams, caulked, primed, painted, and finished everything with detailed touch-ups. The attention to detail really made a difference, and our house looks like a completely new home! Aaron was a fantastic project manager and kept everything moving smoothly. The owner Jake checked in with us regularly throughout the entire project, which gave us a lot of confidence that everything was being handled properly. Even the initial estimate was easy and completely low-pressure. Christina, their front-of-house contact, was also wonderful. She provided us with a very detailed estimate and stayed in communication with us throughout the process, helping with paint selections, scheduling, and payment. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive, and professional. From the first estimate to the final touch-up, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We absolutely love our new house and would highly recommend Ideal Roofing & Exterior Pros!

I had an excellent experience with Jake and his crew. Everyone was professional, honest, transparent and I was not pressured as I had been in the past. The crew went to great lengths to be respectful of my property and dogs and keeps everything nice and clean. They were easy to get ahold of and collaborate with throughout the process. I’ve had multiple neighbors stop by to ask for their info because of their excellent work on my exterior paint job.

We had Jake and his team out for a complete re-roof, with all of our decking removed and replaced. Turns out, we had insufficient venting that made our old decking begin to delaminate from the inside. We felt confident in the way Jake did things to remedy this and get all of the venting improved and working properly. Jake and his project manager, Aaron, couldn't have been better. Jake was honest, thoughtful and very supportive throughout the process, from the sales conversations all the way to final close out. Jake answered all of our questions and communicated clearly and fairly throughout the process. We were also compeltely replaced our insulation throughout the roof, in parts inaccessible via interior attic, and they supported us in doing our own scope in the middle of theirs. We are so glad we went with them and that we were comfortable throughout the process. We loved working with Aaron and were very glad to have him on site throughout the day and a half project. We had a few small damage items post-repair and we feel that Aaron and Jake went above and beyond to solve those. Since doing the roof and the new insulation, our homeowner's insurance decreased by 34% and we don't have to turn our AC on until the end of the day! We are thrilled and contemplating getting our poor-gutter design revamped by them next. We absolutely recommend Ideal for any of your exterior needs and they will be our first call on our next house.

We had a small repair project on our roof which we worried we wouldn't find someone to do. Jacob was communicative, showed up on time, and did a great job! I would definitely hire him for a bigger job and refer him to friends and family!

Roof Replacement Pricing

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Pricing in Denver, CO

The cost of a new roof depends on factors such as roof size, design, material, accessibility, installation complexity, and the condition of the existing system. Our pricing guide helps homeowners compare roofing options and understand the factors that influence project costs.

Budget Friendly

Class 3 Asphalt Architectural Shingles

$5–$6

/per sq ft installed

Best for: Homeowners who need a reliable, good-looking roof without breaking the bank — especially if you’re selling soon, managing a rental, or just want solid protection at the best value.

Typical Lifespan: 20–30 years

Best Value In Colorado

Class 4 Asphalt Architectural Shingles

$6–$8

/per sq ft installed

Best for: Denver homeowners who want the most bang for their buck. The Class 4 hail rating often qualifies you for significant insurance premium discounts — many homeowners save enough on insurance to offset the higher upfront cost.

Typical Lifespan: 25–35 years

Premium Performance

Synthetic Shingles (F-Wave)

$13–$15

/per sq ft installed

Best for: Homeowners who want a roof they can basically forget about. F-Wave is a synthetic polymer shingle that laughs at hail, won’t crack or curl, and looks like a high-end architectural shingle, wood shake or slate. If you’re staying long term, this is the “set it and forget it” option.

Typical Lifespan: 40–50+ years

Lifetime Durability

Metal Standing Seam

$17–$20

/per sq ft installed

Best for: Homeowners who want a roof they can basically forget about. F-Wave is a synthetic polymer shingle that laughs at hail, won’t crack or curl, and looks like a high-end architectural shingle, wood shake or slate. If you’re staying long term, this is the “set it and forget it” option.

Typical life span: 50–70+ years

Luxury & Legacy

Concrete & Clay Tile

$18–$25

/per sq ft installed

Best for: Homeowners in higher-end neighborhoods who want a statement roof — think Mediterranean, Spanish, or Southwest style. Tile is the most architecturally distinctive option and can last a lifetime, but it’s heavier and requires structural support.

Typical Lifespan 75+ Years:
